AIDA TOMESCU
"Tuckson / Tomescu"
Opening: 3.12.2009
Gallery: Liverpool Street Gallery

Aida Tomescu is a a mult-award winners of contemporary art Australia in various competitions including the prestigious LSFA Arts 21 Fellowship in 1996, the Sulman Prize (1996), the Wynne Prize (2001) and the Dobell Prize for Drawing (2003) at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
The exhibition of Tuckson/Tomescu in Liverpool Street Gallery shows the similarity and complexicity of painting structures and impressive techniques between Aida Tomescu and Tony Tuckson.
Both artists evolve similarity in dialogue, but with distinctive individuality in style, textural layers and expressive feeling through vibrancy paint, colour, texture and articulation of drawings between Tony Tuckson and the familiar dense, multi-layered thick paints by Aida Tomescu.
We love Aida's thick, densely textured paint which expressed incredible emotional power in execution. The energy, lightness and elasticity of paint allow viewers in a state of delight, harmony and beauty.
We like to include the interesting memorable photos taken with artist friends and art enthusiasts during the opening night. The exhibition opened until 14 january 2009.
To view the masterpiece, we strongly advice you to visit www.liverpoolstgallery.com.au for more details enquiries and the actual accurate opening dates during the Silly Christmas season.
