Born in Lipa Batangas, Philippines, Miguel Castro is a film and TV actor and an in-house theater actor for GANTIMPALA THEATER FOUNDATION in Manila.

Miguel has a diverse experience in artistic circuit. Maguel is active in various artistic venture in musical shows, a performer at the AAWITAN KITA Liv e Concert Series in Makati, a love song singer and writer in short stories.

Miguel is also the proprietor and designer of the company Castro design and manufacture handmade art and craft products.

Miguel is currently exhibiting paper cut artwork " Desire" for the Mardi Gras Sydney season. The black and white effect in paper cut technique captures emotional feeling in particular artwork on its subject matter, being that of figure torso images or abstract landscape artwork.

It amazed me that the delicate nature and technical skills in black paper cut do provide refine composition, light and shade toner effect, sensual and beauty in Miguel's work.

Great exhibition not to miss in Mardi Gras Sydney.
